"A charming and very well-cared-for temple situated in the heart of the Mendocino and Headlands Historic District within the Village of Mendocino. If you can catch it open, mainly during the tourist season and on weekends, you may learn some great history from the docent."

"It was great knowing the history of this temple. There is a mini priest room adjacent to the temple. No one actually lives there. There was a volunteer inside the temple to answer any questions you may have. You are allowed to wear shoes inside the temple if you are curious to know. We had left ours outside, so volunteer inside clarified to us. Its free to definitely recommend to visit if you are in the area. Good to know some historical facts"
