"This is what used to be called a soup kitchen. This is where hungry people can go get a meal and rest. The encourage people that have utilized. To become a volunteer help feed. There's no greater than giving somebody a meal. Food carries cook this food and serve this food. With joy, happiness and love you could change the course of somebody's life. All are welcome."

"You come inside and are greeted pleasantly, you see rows of tables and chairs. Silverware, a napkin and a cup sit on a place mat on the table in front of each chair waiting for the hungry to sit at for their meal. You sit yourself wherever you would like. Down the center of each table there are pitchers with milk and water, salt and pepper, Tabasco and/or other seasonings. Either a volunteer or Robin herself will come up and ask you if you would like the meal and what kind of dressing for your salad if you'd like one. A couple of minutes later they come back with a plate of food. You can stay as long as you'd like between 4-6pm. You can have seconds or even thirds unless they are very busy that evening as they want to make sure everyone has at least one plate.
Robin took over running the St Barnabas soup kitchen from Howie a few years back now. Howie did some wonderful things and was even able to extend meal nights that were available. Robin has continued the amazing but hard work that Howie had started and has made it possible for the soup kitchen to be open Mon-Fri, 5 days a week she and her volunteers work to feed those who otherwise would go without a warm meal. I myself have personally been in a place before in my life that the soup kitchen was my only meal for the day. I am very thankful for Howie, Robin, and all of the volunteers who donate their time to make this possible."

"St Barnabas has a soup kitchen that's open weekdays from 4pm-6pm serving simple nutritious meals to those in need. It's super clean, everyone is treated with respect and dignity, and anyone can get a meal. There's no sign in, and no questions asked, you are simply welcomed and served. There's a large parking lot, a handwashing station at the door, place settings with water and milk on the tables, and your meal is brought out to you."
