"Great experience every single time! Easy check ins and outs; rooms are very clean, spacious and well stocked up. Being a family friendly place, I appreciate the fun and creative ways Great Wolf Lodge offers to keep children and adults of all ages entertained beside the many adventures you can find at the water parks, there are also full day of fun activities at the grand lobby or become a magician on a quest (with extra purchase of game and wand), arcade games. With all the fun you can enjoy, there comes a time for rest which I love that they remind guests to have quiet hours so families can rest up. One other best part is there’s no need to get out of the resort as you can find restaurants and snacks through out your whole stay. Great Wolf Lodge is a great place to be for your family little get away!
*One important note: lifeguards are wonderful and always focus on their jobs"

"My family and I (my husband and our two kids, ages 6 and ) just got back from at Great Wolf Lodge and overall we had a great time! The place was super clean, the rooms were nice, and most of the staff were amazing.
Right from check in, we were greeted with smiles. James at the front desk was so kind and helpful, he really took his time explaining everything to us and was super patient with our kids. Everyone at the front desk seemed really friendly too which made a great first impression.
Our favorite part service wise had to be Missy. She was hands down the best server we had all weekend! So sweet, always smiling and just incredible with our kids. She made them laugh, remembered their names, and really made us feel like she cared. Stephanie was also great and gave us awesome service too, especially with how busy it was.
The only downsides to our stay were a couple of not so great encounters. The bartender in the waterpark, Melina, was honestly really unpleasant. She kept complaining about how tired she was and that she just wanted to go home. It just felt like we were bothering her by ordering anything. She seemed completely miserable. After that first time we didn’t even bother going back to the bar because it just wasn’t worth the attitude.
At breakfast we had Karley as our server and she didn’t seem to care at all. Barely said two words to us. After having people like Missy and Stephanie take care of us, it was really disappointing.
Outside of that, everything else was awesome. The aquatics team was fantastic — so friendly and you could tell they really pay attention. I always felt like our kids were safe and having a great time. The food was great. Everything was clean and nice.
All in all, we still had a really great trip and would definitely come back! I just hope management notices the difference between people like Missy, Stephanie, and James (WHO MADE OUR STAY AMAZING) versus the few who didn’t seem to want to be there. These types of interactions really set the tone for the whole stay & im really thankful for people like Missy and James."

"Everything was perfect! I was initially concerned with safety in the water park when I saw the crowds. I needn't have worried. There were many well-trained lifeguards! The rooms and lodge were very clean. My granddaughters said they had a blast and want to go back soon."

Navigating the Water Park
Lifeguards are a significant highlight, with guests frequently commending their attentiveness and professionalism. This provides peace of mind for parents while kids enjoy the water. Consider bringing a waterproof phone case or action camera to capture the fun without worry. While the water park is the star, be prepared for it to be humid and wet throughout the area, as noted by some visitors.
Pro-tip: Arrive early on your check-in day to experience the water park with fewer crowds. Also, be aware that while the water park is the main attraction, some visitors feel there isn't enough to do beyond it for the cost.
Beyond the Slides: Lodge Activities
The lodge also boasts a large arcade filled with a variety of games, from classic favorites to modern challenges, perfect for a break from the water. Other attractions include mini-golf, bowling, and various daily scheduled events like character meet-and-greets, dance parties, and craft sessions. These activities are designed to keep the entire family entertained throughout their stay, ensuring there's always something to do.
However, some guests note that the upkeep of attractions like MagiQuest can be inconsistent, with items sometimes appearing dusty or broken. Despite this, the staff generally replaces broken items kindly. The variety of activities aims to provide a comprehensive family entertainment experience under one roof.
Understanding Costs and Value
Beyond the room rate, many activities and amenities come with an extra charge. MagiQuest wands and game passes, arcade games, and some dining options can add up quickly. The souvenir cups for drink refills, while seemingly convenient, also represent an additional cost. Some visitors feel that for the overall expense, the value proposition could be improved, especially if the focus is solely on the water park.
To manage costs, packing your own snacks and drinks is a common strategy among visitors. While the lodge provides dining options, they are often pricier than external choices. Carefully consider package deals that might include meals or activity passes to see if they offer better value for your family's planned activities.
