"Stopped at the Algonac State Park Beach area at the St Clair River. Great view of the river and a nice area to take a dip in the river. Has a sandy area and it isn't too deep. Saw a passing freighter and people playing "fetch" with their dog in the water. While it is rather on the small side, it is relaxing, has benches and it was clean. Plenty of parking during our visit, too."
