What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Luna Park Coney Island for its iconic rides, especially the historic Cyclone, and the vibrant boardwalk atmosphere. Many enjoy the variety of attractions for all ages and the convenience of its seaside location. However, some note that certain rides require separate payment beyond the all-inclusive wristband, and locker access can be inconsistent.
"After September they are opening only on weekends (with some Halloween themed “installations,” mostly for small kids).
We visited on a slightly cooler day and when one the main trains that take you there (Q) wasn’t running to the nearby station, so there were no crowds and we basically didn’t have to wait to ride any attraction (except for the karting racing course, even though the line wasn’t long and a lot of people ride at the same time, it is a “slow process,” so be patient for this one). The karting track could benefit from re-painting the “items” that you should either try to collect or avoid, as it was almost indiscernible.
Before visiting the park, I used to think that there weren’t that many attractions, but they have a decent selection.
If you love adrenaline, here are some thrilling experiences you must try:
Zenobio, Thunderbolt, Cyclone, Steeplechase, Luna 360, Electro Spin and the Atlantic Aviator.
There were some attractions not included with the 100$* bracelet, as the Wonder Wheel.
*If you buy your ticket online using their website, you pay 79$ instead of 99$ when buying at the counter in person.
My partner and I spent around 4 hours and almost got to do all of the attractions we wanted.
A final note is that there is a disjointed experience regarding the “lockers” situation. There are plenty of rides where they have free storage for your belongings, but there are many others where they have 2$ lockers, and I believe you have to pay with a card or tap to pay device.
Most of the workers are very nice, so please be kind to them! Remember that while you are there to have a great time, they are simply doing their job, so don’t give them a hard time if they have the enforce rules they don’t create."

"It was an awesome experience. An all-inclusive ticket, which grants you access to all the rides, costs one hundred dollars. However, if you can't afford that, I suggest you pay for the individual rides you'd prefer. It's also worth noting that you can only access the lockers with your card, not cash. If you go in June, be sure to dress semi-warm as it still gets a bit chilly and might rain in the area. All in all, it's a fun experience."

"Fun place to spend time with family and friends. Kids enjoyed unlimited rides. All rides are safe and was being checked nonstop for their proper functioning by park staff. Area is clean. No garages nor messy grounds nor smelly left overs noted/found."
