What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Boedecker Reservoir offers beautiful scenery and great opportunities for fishing and water sports, though some visitors have encountered issues with dog policies and the online payment system. The lack of shade and potential for crowds on busy days are also noted drawbacks.
"Terrible experience. The male volunteer was nice, however the female ‘officer’ 😂 was terrible. She was so very rude to us - saying things like, why didn’t you look it up before getting there…we don’t encourage people to paddle board here. What? That’s all people do there. Remove her - a good day. Just a few things: No dogs allowed. And to pay the $10 fee - you basically have to go through an account set up … then pay online. Should have been simpler."

"Gorgeous clean peaceful lake, city close but feels far away, in foothills of the Rocky Mountains and my opinion is the best lake in Loveland Colorado. Next door to a truly awesome golf course and custom homes. Spectacular scenery and views of the Rocky Mountains. I don't fish, but hear the fishing is excellent, lots of water activity in spring and summer with kayaks and wind surfers."

"Please stop mingling on the ramp, keep the west side of the ramp clear its not a hang out spot or I'll hit you with my boat, and for the love of respect prepare your vessels prior to driving down the ramp and strap up after pulling off the ramp not during. It's common sense. Oh and one more thing, if you're not pulling a trailer you shouldn't be parking on the north side of the parking lot."
