"One of my top favorite places to go! Beautiful property, connected to the "Louisville loop" and plenty of native plants and community gardens to see. Beautiful setup for photos. Great for bird watchers. Dog friendly as long as you have your pet on a leash and clean up after them. They are currently rebuilding the huge gazebo that they were known for in years past. This is a beautiful place and lots of fun things to learn about and explore."

Lacie Glaab

"I love this place. It's a great place to escape everyday life. From the museum itself, which is amazing, to the back porch rocking chair sitting, the river veiw, they have pavilions and restrooms that are always clean, beautiful flowers located in the front of the building, walking paths and my personal favorite, a stairway that leads directly to the water. They also have family events such as trunk or treat, pioneers day, and other small community events to encourage the community to visit. It's great watching the sunset while my kids enjoy walking the banks and playing on the sand. During our last trip there, the stairs were completely emerged from all the rainfall. Yet, still very beautiful and peaceful."
