"This is a very well-kept and peaceful cemetery that clearly holds the remains of many of Louisville’s most well-to-do residents. Many of the graves are intricately carved pieces of art, and the place is beautiful. It’s also somewhat maze-like. I visited in the morning and spent a little time admiring the stonework. It’s quite a sight if you enjoy such things."

"I love visiting arboretums and gardens, as well as historic cemeteries, so this place was a must on our trip to Louisville. We visited on a Saturday morning with mostly local joggers enjoying the area. This place is ginormous and beautiful. I do wish they had more of the trees labeled with what they were."
