Reviews Summary
Guests rave about The Hollywood Roosevelt's historic charm, iconic pool, and vibrant atmosphere, calling it a 'bucket-list type of experience.' The Spare Room and Cinegrill Theater are highlighted as unique attractions. However, some visitors note that certain rooms can feel dated, and service can be inconsistent, particularly on weekends. The high cost of valet parking and a daily destination fee are also points of contention for some.
"Overall a great hotel. The rooms are amazing. We stayed in the tower suites, which are spacious and super nice. The pool cabana rooms are probably very noisy just in case you are considering them.
I lived the pool and the Spare Room bar with a 2 lane bowling alley and loads of fun board games to play for free.
I could not give 5 stars as the hotel did not have a concierge available over the weekend and on Mondays and reception was unwilling to help with anything. Check out took forever and the staff was not friendly. Also? They add a $35 per day destination fee which is a complete scam. Lastly avoid the pool restaurant for breakfast. Very expensive and bad compared to 25degrees. Also check th drink prices. They vary greatly for the same item in each of the bars."

"I would totally stay here again. Good location for lots of popular touristy Hollywood/ Beverly Hills things to do. It can be a little bit lively in the evenings with lots of activity happening on Hollywood Blvd.
They have good food and restaurants in the hotel. It's a little spendy, but it's good food.
It's an older hotel. So if your hotel needs require a newer/updated hotel - keep that in mind. I thought it had a great vintage vibe.
Everyone of the staff were so amazing, kind, and helpful.
Valet is $75.00/ day w/ in and out privileges. There is a secured public parking garage literally across the road from the valet driveway - as an FYI."

"This classic hotel still has style and appeal. The pool has is buzzy and laid back. DJ good service, busy but enough space to get a lounger. The bungalow rooms are the best with private terraces. The ones not facing the pool are the most private. Pick your style. The rooms are a bit older and you hear everything through the floors so prepare for that. But despite the busy area still feels like an oasis. Area is safe to walk despite being Hollywood Blvd with the expected people that prey on tourists, so be mindful and you are good even at night. Overall a not to be missed bucket-list type of experience. Go to Yamashiro and Musso and Frank's and all the usual places and you will not be disappointed in your Hollywood weekend."
