Seeing it so often makes me take for granted the fact that this house is an architectural and historic landmark of Los Angeles. John Sowden employed Lloyd Wright (Frank Lloyd Wright’s nephew) to design the house, making it iconic in its own right. Adding to the intrigue, Sowden is also believed to have been a serial killer - creepy, but it doesn’t even stop there. He wasn’t just any serial killer, he’s believed to be responsible for the infamous Black Dahlia murder which very likely took place in this house. Nothing like a bit of quaint neighborhood history..."
