Visitors consistently praise the Marciano Art Foundation for its free admission and convenient free parking, making it a highly accessible cultural gem in Los Angeles. The contemporary art exhibits, particularly the striking stairwell and the whimsical Felix the Cat installation, are frequently highlighted as memorable features. While the art's abstract nature may not appeal to everyone, the spacious galleries and welcoming staff contribute to a positive overall experience.
"Free entry and free parking - reservations are required, which we didn’t know, but our parking attendant was extremely kind and helpful and helped us navigate to get a time slot! The museum is 4 stories (middle was under construction when we went), and there were many cool exhibits to walk through, look at, and read about. There is also a library on the first floor of art and photography books to browse. Definitely would love to come back in the future when some of the exhibits change to see what new is being offered!"

"The MAF is a unique and spacious art gallery, which I highly recommend. It is located in an old historical Masonic facility. You would never know from the outside that inside contains so much modern art !! The third floor is their permanent collection of pieces; these tend to stick around and have been there the past five or so years… the bottom floor is the main gallery which has shows that switch out about two to three times a year. The bottom floor gallery has extremely tall ceilings so it’s cool to see the types of installations they bring in. Fun spot, I’m glad it has reopened!"

"Had a great solo trip here. Very peaceful. Workers are extremely kind. Art is so subjective. Lots of different concepts. Free to come in and free parking."
