Reviews Summary

Reviews for apartments in this area highlight friendly staff and good locations for city access. However, potential residents should be aware of significant issues like poor cell service, rodent infestations, and concerns about break-ins. Some reviewers also mention unexpected fees and a lack of accountability for pet waste. Despite these drawbacks, some tenants have enjoyed long stays due to positive interactions with specific staff members.

"I’ve been at Skyline Terrace for a little over three years and this is my longest run at an apartment in LA! I’ve loved watching Adrianna grow in her leadership role here, and the team she currently has helping execute and make sure the apartments stay just as welcoming as when I first moved in. I love the events they put on, they’re always very thoughtful and timely And filled with delicious eats and drinks. Definitely recommend this apartment and team for those looking to find their new home. Perfect location for those who like to be near the city / hot spots but not within it!"

Shanay Jackson Campbell

"I have been living at this complex for about 5 years and overall have really enjoyed my experience. The maintenance and office staff are kind, helpful and accommodating. Enjoyed my time here so far."

Omari McNeil

"Cute complex for people who want to start in DTLA as their first move. Gary is super sweet and goes so far to help us with any problems or concerns! If you’re able to get a hold of him, he’s awesome and so kind. That’s why I gave this a 3-star review.

I will say though that while they try their best to help and make it a great place to live. There are some things to consider:

- Lots and lots of dead cell zones. I have had so many calls drop within my apartment from business meetings to personal calls. I never receive calls either. I have to be at least 10 feet away from the complex to have a full conversation. I was told by one of the staff to make cell phone Wi-Fi calling, and ended up having my internet bill skyrocket.
- Break-ins, the amount of times I’ve seen the aftermath of a break-in from a homeless person or a suspect, is very uncomfortable. I can’t take my dogs out at night because of safety concerns and never see the onsite security.
- Rodent Infested: While they may try their best to make the complex clean and nice to look at. However, however, there are so many rats, roaches in the garbage areas, some in the apartments, and close to the elevators that it might make you think otherwise. The garbage areas themselves are so disgusting that it’s no wonder all these critters decide to come in!
- Hidden fees: They might claim that they don’t do hidden fees; however, they do. You’ll get a fee for maintenance, a fee for trash, etc., which when Colton worked with this place, has never stated.
- Lack of accountability for owners and their dog’s poop: it’s ridiculous that they don’t provide bags anymore for dog owners, because a lot of the tenants can be careless and never pick up after their dogs. One even let their dog poop in the garage and didn’t bother to pick it up. It’s such a nuisance for others, but I understand that some people aren’t the best listeners.

So, with all that said and done, Gary’s great; he goes above and beyond for tenants. Just be mindful of what you will be getting yourself into before you sign with this complex."
