"First time visiting and I was pleasantly pleased. While yes the place is very small, the pieces in this museum were beautiful and intriguing. I felt safe and comfortable while parking in their secured structure as well!
The main thing I appreciated at this museum was the park outside! I didn’t expect to encounter such a peaceful place just outside the museum 🥰
As a past resident of DTLA, I felt safe and relaxed as I enjoyed the sun on the grass. I read my Bible devotional after visiting the gallery and it was the perfect afternoon. There is a little cafe where you can buy coffee or snacks nearby. The server was so friendly and funny! I can’t wait to be back"

"Small gallery attached to and run by FIDM - the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandise. Though the space is small (only large enough for one exhibit at a time) it’s a great place to stop for any fan of fashion. Being in LA, rotating exhibits often include costumes from tv & film, but there are also showcases from the FIDM fashion archives.
Entry is free, and the location is accessible both by public transportation (bus stop directly outside) and car (parking garage underneath the campus)."

"The FIDM Museum has two big exhibits a year: one for the Oscars and one for the Emmys. The museum is pretty small but if you're in the area I highly recommend checking both exhibits out! I am not a movie buff and I barely watch television but I enjoy seeing the artistry of the garments. The museum has a small gift shop but they have some pretty neat stuff there and sometimes have discounts on certain things.
The is no parking structure but I've been there a few times on the weekends and have found metered parking nearby."
