"A very awesome place to visit knowing that this is the exact spot where the treaty of guadalupe hidalgo was signed what later formed the American south west but most importantly the birth of California as we know it today this place is a must visit for any historical enthusiast including for the common minded who is simply interested in knowing more about the history of California but most importantly the Mexican-American History that is sewn into our fabric of time"

"Detailed telling of history and a beautiful site right next to the B Line Universal/Studio City Station. However, their hours are extremely limited."

"My buddy brought me here bc he's a history buff, especially when it comes to Californias history. It blew my mind to find out that this is literally where the treaty was signed with Mexico that gave the US all of this land. Better yet stolen by the US like it has everything else. So much history and sadness could be felt here, and what's bizarre is that people passed by it like it was nothing. Knowing that so much and so many lives would be affected by this simple little historic site was something else. You can see the original tiles and masonry that were laid out to build this adobe structure, and it's even laid out into the street. It is truly an amazing experience, especially when your friend tells the dramatic story of it all."
