"Stayed at The LINE Hotel in Koreatown and had a great experience overall. The location is perfect right in the heart of Ktown with so many restaurants bars and late night spots within walking distance. The hotel has a modern stylish vibe without feeling stiff and the lobby and common areas are always lively. The rooms were clean comfortable and well designed with great city views and solid sound insulation. Staff was friendly and helpful and check in and check out were smooth. The rooftop pool and dining spots are a big plus and make it feel like a full experience not just a place to sleep. Great choice if you want to stay somewhere central cool and convenient in LA."

"Overall we had an excellent stay at the Line hotel. The room is a bit small for an extended stay but it is nicely furnished and we really liked the large windows. We had a strange issue where after we checked in and were napping in our room staff came in multiple times however the front desk was apologetic and offered to comp our resort fee for the day. The gym is small but serviceable. The location is excellent as it is centrally located in Koreatown with lots of good food around and the metro/bus is also right outside."

"I had an event here and when I got to valet after the event I knew something was up after everyone was getting their cars except for me. After about 20 minutes they'd let me know they can't find my keys.. The valet working (although completely screwed up, was very cool and helpful) was trying very hard to figure it out but after an hour no resolve. Valet manager, would not come down to figure out the situation and told them to tell me to get an Uber.... Said that was unacceptable and that they were going to have to get me a key fob. Manager then told them to tell me (again for some reason could not be bothered to address the situation) that I could pay for a key replacement and they would pay me back, again unacceptable. Eventually one of the valet got a locksmith to come and make me a key replacement, this is after already being there for 2 hours. The valet manager made them pay for it instead of just taking responsibility as the manager. Then after finally getting home after 2:00 a.m. I realized the one of the 2 $50 bills I had just put in my center console before dropping off the car to valet, I am 1000% confident or I would never make this accusation.
My key was lost, I had to wait 2 hours, and money was stolen from the car.
I called to let them know about the money missing and that I just wanted someone to come clean so I wouldn't have to report it and was told that the manager would call me the next day or the following and that never happened. I've called multiple times to speak with somebody and never the "correct manager is there. I've Left voicemails and sent multiple emails with absolutely no response. Now my last resort is going on here. This is ridiculous."

For Different Travelers
Tailored advice for your travel style
👨👩👧 Families with Kids
Key Considerations: While the hotel is generally welcoming, it's worth noting that the 'buzzy' atmosphere might be less ideal for very young children who need quiet. Also, be mindful of the valet parking situation and associated costs, which can add up for families traveling by car. Exploring Koreatown's diverse food scene can be an adventure for kids, with many casual and delicious options available.
💰 Budget-Conscious Travelers
Money-Saving Tips: Look for weekday deals, consider skipping valet if you can find nearby street parking (though this can be difficult), and take advantage of happy hour specials if available at the hotel's bars. Eating at the numerous local eateries in Koreatown will likely be more affordable than hotel dining.
couples
Romantic Touches: Book a room on a higher floor for the best views. Consider a late-night stroll through Koreatown's lively streets or enjoy the hotel's ambiance after a day of exploring Los Angeles together. The hotel's modern aesthetic appeals to couples looking for a trendy and sophisticated stay.

Navigating Valet and Parking
For those looking to avoid valet, finding street parking can be challenging, and you may need to walk a block or two. If you plan on using rideshares extensively, the hotel's location is convenient, but be prepared for potential traffic delays common in Los Angeles.
Recommendation: If parking is a concern, consider the cost and potential hassle. If you opt for valet, ensure all valuables are removed from your car and document your car's condition before handing over the keys. For those who prefer not to deal with valet, factor in potential walking distances from alternative parking spots.
The Vibe: Industrial Chic Meets Korean Flair
The lobby and common areas are described as lively and buzzy, creating an energetic atmosphere that makes the hotel feel like a destination in itself. This is complemented by the striking greenhouse restaurant, which adds a unique visual element and a touch of natural beauty to the urban setting.
Key Design Elements: Expect exposed concrete, metal accents, and clean lines, often softened by thoughtful lighting and artistic touches that nod to Korean culture. This combination creates a stylish and memorable environment that appeals to travelers seeking a contemporary lodging experience.
Koreatown: A Culinary and Cultural Hotspot
Beyond the food, Koreatown offers a dynamic cultural experience. The area is known for its bustling nightlife, karaoke bars, and unique shops. The hotel's proximity to the Metro B (Red) Line also provides easy access to other parts of the city, but many visitors find they can spend days just exploring the immediate surroundings of the hotel.
Insider Tip: Don't be afraid to venture beyond the most well-known spots. Ask locals for recommendations, and be open to trying new dishes. The culinary diversity within Koreatown is vast and rewarding.
