"This beautiful place is so nice. Open land. So much agriculture. Lots of shade. If you haven't gone here, it's a must go. The people who work here talk about the land and the way people lived in those days, what they, how they made clothes, the the fed off the land,. There's just so much knowledge and history about this place, etc. The Mission is blessed with Holy Spirit of those that never left. How the the people cooked. It's talks about how ppl hid in man made tunnels when earthquakes would come and destroy the land, and people died from being caved in. There's fountains where they would bathe and wash their clothing's.
Wear tennie shoes 👞 👟."

"I have to say how wonderful it is to see how courteous and kind the entire staff at this state park are. First person we encounter is a sweet wise woman who has so much joy and was a delight to speak with. She gave us a map and recommendations on how to explore the area. We checked out the exhibit and another nice person is there to greet us. There are so many sights and sounds to enjoy, animals to see... the history of how the mission was built is quite educational. I used to work at the base nearby and never realized the vast history. Glad to have been here, thank you staff and Lompoc for a great experience!"
