What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Gallup Park for its beautiful, largely shaded walking paths and the 'awesome' playground that delights children. The park's serene atmosphere, especially by the Huron River, is frequently mentioned. However, some reviews express concern over the condition of historical farm animal exhibits, noting they appear neglected and sad.
"Some people were sharing lake pictures in reviews, we didn’t see all of that. We did see a nice largely shaded area with walking paths and places to sit. There was a book whose pages were spread throughout the park. It was a cute touch and related to the library next door. This was a nice little park."

"Playground is awesome, but if you want to see what it was like in the 19th century skip 1860-1890’s farmland over there, the animals look miserable, with nothing to graze on, and nobody seemingly cleaning out their stalls and putting in fresh hay. It really is a sad sight to see coming from someone who has lived around and on farms before, we just had to leave. If they’re going for authentic, it would give a false representation, considering animals were our ancestors lifeblood."
