"I had just came from a mini golf course that ended quickly and decided to go look for something else to do and stumbled across this🧍🏻♀️ When arriving I won't lie I was a bit scared as the parking lot was empty but I don't regret going in. It is a very small museum but it's a fun short experience 🙂↕️🙂↕️ The guy who attended us was very lovely and kind as well as soft spoken when attending us so I can appreciate that. There's lots of history from different times but favorite part was the animal bones it was mammoth and saber tooth and a little area where you can look for bones in what looked like small rocks ? Not to be a kid but I was playing with the rocks 😭 at the end tho we did stumble across 5 ppl who scared me and my bf as they were all standing separately from one another 😭 not sure if it was on purpose but definitely scared me and him. Other than that tho had lots of fun here's some pics!!"

"Amazing museum rich with local history and interactive exhibits. From fossils, the native tribes to the modern day Lake County we know. I visited on a Sunday afternoon, luckily there was not too many people so I was able to take each piece in depth. Entry fee for LC residents is 6$, very worth the price. My favorite parts where the interactive maps, where you could drag a window over a current Lake County map and compare it with maps of the past. Incredible to see about 100 years ago most of it was just land. The Native American exhibit was amazing. Unfortunately the seasonal exhibit was closed so i was not able to explore further. Look forward to coming back again!"
