Reviews Summary
Reviews for the Legacy Trail are mixed, with many praising the scenic beauty of the Canmore-Banff route and the accessibility of urban trails. However, some users express concerns about safety and poor marking in certain urban sections near Lexington.
"We rode from the dead in front of the Kentucky Horse Park all the way to Mary Todd Lincoln’s house in front of Rupp Arena! We loved being able to access the trail from the campground and being able to stop and eat at a local brewery on the trail in Lexington."
Dirk Lang
"We started at the Iron Works trail head. The ride was beautiful until we got to mile maker 2, then we were in a not so nice part of town many home less and the obvious trail ended and there was ZERO markers and at one point we rode on the road in a "Bike lane" but the problem with that was it was mostly filled with parked cars. So take the trail but turn around at marker 2. BTW we never saw marker 1."
Amy O'Brian
"Nice bike path through some farmland, not as nice near the city though."
