What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Kroger Field offers a vibrant atmosphere for both University of Kentucky Wildcats football games and major concerts, praised for its energetic crowds and venue capacity. While some find the PA system overly loud and parking inconveniently expensive, many appreciate the overall experience, especially for concerts like Tyler Childers' performances. The stadium is seen as a capable host for large events, with staff handling crowds professionally.
"Comfortable seating. Loud music over the PA system never seemed to stop. It interrupted the flow of conversation and competed with the great school bands. Purple parking lot cost over $60 and was anything but convenient. Best deal was to take the local transit shuttle and park for $3 or $4 downtown. All in all the Kroger Field experience was acceptable. I just wish they'd limit the music noise."

"Such a great place for a concert or venue. We had super level seat that were on the side and it was a little hard to see but we made the beat of it and really enjoyed the Tyler Childers show. Ive seen him several times and I always enjoy his concerts. Ive visited the Kroger Field before to watch Chris Stapleton and had seats on the field. Anywhere you sit the show will be great. The staff handled the crowd and the crowds needs very professionaly. I can't wait to visit again for the next concert. Gotta give you two thumbs up for everything. I highly recommend seeing a concert here and enjoying yourself."

"Tyler Childers concert was amazing with Winona opening! Great to see the state and city of Ledington able to put on major acts in such a huge venue. The city has some kinks to iron out in regards to managing traffic but the stadium itself is certainly capable of hosting major acts.
I look forward to seeing other concerts here as the football program isn't quite on the same level yet. Been here for football games too though and SEC games are always a lively atmosphere. The tailgate scene is pretty outstanding as well.
Not a huge Tyler fan but he honestly put on a superb show and he does a lot for the state. Well done! 👍"
