Reviews Summary

Visitors rave about the breathtaking panoramic views and spectacular sunsets at The Point Overlook, calling it a must-see within Shenandoah National Park. The accessibility and peaceful atmosphere are frequently praised, making it ideal for a relaxing stop. Some note that it can get crowded during peak sunset times.

"We stopped here to see the lighthouse while in the park for Memorial Day. This reminded me of the sand bar in Bar Harbor, ME. The water was low that you could walk out and get closer to the lighthouse. There were it many people on this beach but there were plenty of horseshoe crabs and sand crabs. If we had chairs and extra time we could have sat here and just enjoyed the weather for a bit more."

Miss Val

"Not too many places you can go to see the ocean and Delaware Bay by turning your head around. Beautiful preserve at the tip of Cape Henlopen."

Steve

"Nice, peaceful, relaxing place. Saw some guys catch some fish, as well as a horseshoe crab."
