What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Beltzville State Park is praised for its beautiful lake, sandy beach, and family-friendly atmosphere, making it a popular spot for swimming and picnics. However, visitors note that it can get very crowded on weekends, and some facilities like restrooms could be better maintained. Concerns about trash and noise from loud music on busy days are also mentioned.
"This little spot was just amazing—perfect for families. There’s a beautiful but small beach, a small snack bar/food, picnic tables, and bathrooms (though they could be a bit cleaner). You can even rent boats, and there’s on-site medical help, which is reassuring. The only drawback is that there are no lifeguards. Still, it’s a wonderful place for a family day trip, full of fun and relaxation."

"The lake is spacious and ideal for a variety of water activities, including jet boating. Well-maintained restrooms are available, and a small sandy beach is good for children to play. It's also a great place for families to enjoy barbecues and picnics."

"Overall a nice place. Rangers are always on property keeping it safe and making sure people don't break the rules.(No portable speakers is a big one). Life guards are also always keeping an eye on everyone's safety. Plenty of room to set up your party but feels up quick and early. They won't let you in before 8am but people will line up earlier than that. Bathrooms are a lil messy but I definitely blame that on the people who use the premises not the cleaning crew. You see then constantly trying to keep it all clean and garbage gets pick up very frequently. Staff is friendly."
