What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Ashton Gardens for its stunning beauty, especially during the vibrant Tulip Festival and the unique Garden of Quilts event. The expansive grounds, impressive waterfall, and spiritual exhibits are frequently highlighted as major attractions. However, some find the admission price to be high, and parking can be challenging during peak times. Occasional issues with unavailable attractions without prior notice have also been noted.
"Absolutely stunning. I didn’t realize how big this place is and how magical. The tulip festival was phenomenal. The light the world and tree of life exhibits are beautiful and spiritual. The waterfall is huge and amazing. It’s pricey ($27/person for one venue) so if you are local, buy a yearly pass so you can get into all the venues for free. Get tickets in advance so you don’t have to wait in line."

"First time visiting was for Tulip Festival. We purposefully waited until the end of the dates hoping it would be less busy however it was packed! We had to park down by the curiosity museum on the driving range grass. I don’t mind walking but that was a bit of a ways away. The festival itself was beautiful. They did an amazing job with color placement. I was so impressed that we updated our tickets to Thanksgiving point passes so I can return to check out the garden outside of Tulip Festival!
My only complaint is the golf cart rentals that people are allowed to drive around the garden on the walking paths. I personally feel wheelchairs need to be used for anybody that cannot walk the entire garden OR they need to have approved volunteers driving people around!"

"Wednesday 16 July 2025 - 5 Stars.
First time here. Came with my son, his wife, and 4 grandkids.
The grandkids had a BLAST with all the activities and things to see & do. I was glad we had a golf cart. That would have been too much walking for me (61 years old with some health issues). The grounds, flowers, and landscaping were beautiful."
