What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the LeFrak Center for its diverse seasonal activities, from ice skating to a summer splash pad, and its role in hosting community events. However, some experiences with skate rental quality and the splash pad's abrasive surface have been noted as drawbacks.
"I went to the splash pad. It's a giant wet pumice stone, the heels of my feet look marvelous. The rules are: no running, no ballons, and no food on the splash pad, but toddlers can't read so its purpose was defeated. One of my children have cut up feet, the other has a cut up face, and the last hhave shredded knees and palms. Here is some advice: Put garden shoes, jellies, or water shoes on your child(ren) feet, bring a first aid kit, water guns, buckets, beach balls are welcome, be prepared to yell "stop running" an ungodly amount of times, and bring a picinic lunch if you don't want to eat at the reasonably priced café. About the café, a sign or notification would've been nice, but the grill closes at 3 if they're preparing for an event the following day."

"The management is friendlier and the food is better at the new Duck Island cafe. The spicy broccolini sandwich was great! Still slow service though.
And the splash pad is always fun in warm weather."

"Great place to spend time and play with your kids. Love that there is a ice skating rink that is turned into a sprinkler for kids during the summer. Many places to sit and enjoy the cool breeze. There is also a restaurant to get food from and bathrooms to use.
Highly recommend for anyone to wants to enjoy the park or have some play time."
