"First - I feel the need to defend against the 1 star for unkempt trails. It's that from JULY? The month of record breaking rainfall and devastating floods? Come on, now, buddy. If that's a people trail, I can almost promise that it isn't usually like that in July.
I've been to this park a few times. Most recently I camped. I had a nice little spot where I was able to hang my hammock and wake up with the sun and the lake crafting artwork that l left me speechless. The property was clean and natural. There's little to no light or sound pollution. The bathrooms are nice and clean"

"Good campsites. Probably better to come here in the Spring as the water level is quite low in the Fall."
Cynthia P
"They don't take care of trails. Most trails are covered by overgrown weeds and not walkable."
