"Miami Valley Gaming offers a lot of things to get excited about, and a lot of things that are wanting to say the least. I have been a patron here since its opening and have Executive tier status, so I have a wide range of experience at this venue. We will start with the horrific and work our way to the fantastic.
The Horrific:
Hosting: if you are learning to run a gaming marketing department this is not the place to attend class on how to do it.
I have had elite status when the black card was their highest tier, and executive status since they have had that option in the mix. I have heard from a host less than 5 times in those years. They had an offer with the Palms in Vegas in 2024, and after numerous attempts to set it up through MVG marketing, I gave up and called the marketing department at the Palms. The Palms set me up with limo service, a suite, Diamond Status, a pool cabana, and F&B after one call and a few texts. I never heard from MVG until someone from the Palms contacted them. Ridiculous.
The marketing department is a joke and other players I have talked to over the years I have met there agree to a T.
How bad is the hosting at MVG? I have never met my “host”. The host from the Palms came to Cincinnati this summer and took my family to the Reds game in the scout seats and invited us to a dinner at Ruby’s (Thanks Matt). Maybe the San Manuel Mission Indians (the owner of the palms) can come out here and do a training class on how to attract players.

Comps: If your marketing department is a solid F then you know the comps are as lacking as that designation would suggest. In most venues you can factor about 10-15% ROI on your theoretical loss via comps (depending on the venue). This place offers maybe 1%. With over a million dollars of coin in this year I muster apx 800 a month in free play (atrocious), apx 100.00 in F&B (LOL), a “trip” to the Derby (okie dokie), and an average of 7.00 on the “free spin wheel” a week (LMMFAO). Absolute abysmal return on losses. If I had an actual host that was a host, I’d ask for better F&B comps but who knows how that would work out?

Dining: Cincity isn’t bad. The service is normally decent and the food isn’t bad for not having USDA Prime options normally available. Jean George’s doesn’t have to worry this place will be stealing their clientele from the Aria , but it’s passable for the menu pricing.
The other offerings are order at the window and answer a buzzer, and that is what you would expect it to be. The buffet they used to have was okay but that went by the wayside years ago.
If this place sucks so bad why are you here? Great question.
The Gaming: Always has the newest and best slots (VLT’s) in the area… sometimes months before the other casinos in the region. They also have the highest RTP of any casino (racino) in the area as well. I love comps, and fine dining, but I love milking a bankroll even more, and that’s what you go to a casino for at the end of the day. The slot personnel (Christy, David, and a host of many many others) are on the spot, friendly and engaging. They are always quick to say hi and ask how the world is treating you. The security guys and gals are friendly and engaging. The cage members (Teddy, Kyle and a host of others) are always ready, willing, and able to help with fee free card transactions.
The machines are hit and miss, like any place you play, but overall big bets normally equal big returns here and that’s what you’re here for to begin with.
Overall I love this place, but am objective enough to know how to compare gaming venues based on total experience. The gaming here is AAA+, the rest of the venue though needs some serious work if they want to be a destination location for serious players."

Best casino I believe I've ever been to highly recommend .and they tell you every time there's a jackpot hit and how much and what machine that is such a motivator.
