What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the engaging and knowledgeable staff who make the nature center experience delightful, especially for children. The outdoor walking trails to the pond are a highlight, offering a peaceful escape. However, some find the indoor building small and more suited for scheduled group programs than casual drop-in visits.
"This was a great little nature center, we loved the tortoise and little green vine snake. The staff members were engaging and delightful. We also went for a little walk down to the pond and that was beautiful! I appreciate that the path was clear and easy to walk. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone!"

"Small but great nature center. The guide can make or break a place like this and the guide rocked. She had facts and stories and could answer every question. She made this a wonderful experience."

"The nature center building itself was a disappointment. This really isn’t a center meant to be used by the casual “drop-in” public visitor...this looks to be set up more for a scheduled group of children, like a school or day camp group. The building itself is very nice and looks to offer some nice programming for very young children.
It was too hot to walk around outside so I didn’t see any of its garden or walking trails. Might come back later in fall when it’s cooler to see the garden and trails."
