What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors often describe Zak Bagans' Haunted Museum as a uniquely unsettling and fascinating experience, especially for fans of the paranormal and true crime. While some find it genuinely creepy with reported paranormal activity, others view it as a well-curated collection of macabre artifacts. The intense atmosphere and historical items are highlights, though some find the tours rushed or the content overly disturbing.
"I visited today and honestly, it wasn’t worth the hype. Just like many other reviews mentioned, the tour was rushed. We started about 30 minutes late and were constantly reminded to “move along & keep your feet moving,” which made it hard to actually absorb anything.
Our group was way to large we had 13 people if this place really valued their customers feedback they would limit the group size and ensure their is adequate gaps in the tour time slots so groups aren't running into each other. Our group was to large we had to be split at the end because we were taking to long in rooms and they wanted us out of their ASAP.
It was way too hot inside. The fog machines and strong incense made it hard to breathe, and with all the standing and walking over 2 in a half hours, I can see why people pass out. It was uncomfortable from start to finish.
We also kept bumping into other tour groups, which ruined the flow. Some of them were loud as hell, making it even harder to focus or hear what the guide was saying.
And don’t expect to take any memories with you phones have to be turned off completely, and no photos or videos are allowed.
I expected the gift shop to have some cool stuff but that was a huge let down 😑
The poor pacing, uncomfortable conditions, and chaotic group overlaps really killed the vibe. Definitely not worth the money unless they overhaul how they run it."

"Place was nicely put together, tours were going often. Not too expensive. No idea how many spirits could possibly be there, but plenty of people say they have experiences. I did not. I’m just here to say that my tour guide Isaac was AMAZING. Good energy, loud, clear, and considerate of my grandpa’s slow pace. He took these photos. Thank you so much for the experience."

"This tour was a great experience. We started with general admission and upgraded to the VIP passes it was well worth it for the VIP, you get to experience more rooms and knowledge about the items contained in the museum. We had a great group of people (12) however the rooms are fairly small. The only thing I didn't like was how crowded it felt ( groups of 6 might be better) and how quickly we flew through some of the rooms but that's because the museum was very busy and the staff did a great job projecting info and letting everybody who booked through. I like to read and assess everything so I wanted to go slower to do just that. Overall it was a good time we spent 3 hours learning and viewing items. I highly recommend this place as a stop while you visit. I do also recommend close towed shoes and a shower before you go big groups equals all quarters."
