Reviews Summary

Imperial Spa offers a unique and affordable Korean spa experience with a wide range of therapeutic rooms and baths. While many praise the value and the effectiveness of treatments like the body scrub, some recent reviews note a decline in amenities, with a lack of a kitchen and a non-working hot tub, despite price increases. The intensity of the body scrub can also be a concern for some.

"Place has gone downhill big time. Do not waste your time. They no longer have a working hot tub or kitchen in spite of what they advertise online. I paid $45 to enter only to find there is zero food here to eat and no hot tub. I would have NEVER come had I known that. I must eat every three hours and now must leave because they don’t offer what they advertise and won’t allow food to be brought in. This place used to be great. Now they have raised the price from $25 to $45 and offer half the amenities. Rip off!"

"My experience started off pretty well. The call beforehand was positive, and when I arrived, both women at the front desk were wonderful. They were kind, welcoming, and I was greeted with smiling faces, which I really appreciated.

That said, there were a lot of instructions, and since I have never been somewhere like this before, I did feel a bit confused. When I went to the back, I did not really understand where I was supposed to be or what I should be doing. It would have been helpful to have someone briefly show me around or explain the process. I was also unsure how I would be called or found, although it did eventually work out when my number was called.

Once I was called back, my experience shifted. The woman who performed the body scrub was not very personable and seemed annoyed from the start. When she asked if I wanted my hair washed, I said no because I wanted to keep it dry. She responded in an angry tone and told me no, which felt unnecessarily hostile. She then asked again if I wanted my hair washed, and I again said no. It was a confusing and uncomfortable interaction.

The body scrub itself was extremely painful and I have a rash from it still. I honestly would have paid to have it stopped, but I felt too uncomfortable and intimidated to speak up because of her demeanor. I also wish payment and tipping had not been required at the beginning, as I would not have left the tip I did based on the experience.

Overall, I would not return, but I do think the woman performing the scrubs could benefit from being more gentle and more personable, especially with first time clients."

"Drop all your favorite spas on the strip…. Imperial is the Korean Spa to get treatment when in Vegas! I found this because of a TikTok video. Definitely located in the more downtrodden neighborhoods in Vegas (off the strip), so just uber there. Otherwise, book a massage and get access to the saunas, cold plunge, steam room, ice room, rock beds, clay rooms, and much much more! The all day spa access itself is $45. But get yourself a massage treatment! I paid for a Swedish massage for $135 (which is still a bit pricey), but my therapist Ah-san, knew what she was doing! She learned techniques from teachers in Thailand, China, and Japan and instantly helped me with my lingering knee pain. I didn’t even tell her my issues yet she knew exactly what areas were tight and fragile and worked diligently to alleviate the pain….. they give you shorts/shirt/robe/towel to use for the day. And your own locker. You can nap in numerous rooms and detox/detach from life’s everyday stresses…nothing inappropriate or illegal in this establishment which i can appreciate…front desk staff is courteous/kind/informative…. There’s gender only rooms in the first level, co-ed on the 2nd level….i will be coming back here every time i go to Vegas!"
