What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
The Flamingo Las Vegas offers a prime Strip location and a dose of classic Vegas charm, with its iconic wildlife habitat being a major draw. While many guests appreciate the vibrant atmosphere and helpful staff, some rooms show their age and renovations can impact amenities. It's a solid choice for those seeking an affordable, centrally located stay with a nod to Vegas history.
"The hotel is in the middle of renovations (12/2025) and many things are not working properly. I tried to call ahead and one of the operators nor the people at the hotel could properly explain the parking fees. Discounts were promised but when you pick up the car at valet, there is only a kiosk and it doesn't allow for any discounts. Rooms were promised at 3:30 via app-pre-checkin , then they wanted to charge me $60 for checking in before 4pm. The room was OLD and needs a lot of updating. We booked a suite, our shower worked, sometimes, sometimes it was only super-hot or cold, sometimes it didn't come on at all. Doorframe was broken. Housekeeping was promised, but they never showed up. Front Desk said they would only serve the room before 9am - Who's up and out before 9am in Las Vegas?? NO room service, late night dining is hard to find, even the food court closes partially at midnight. They have a nice Cafe-Havana, but most of the items at the to-go-counter were sold out by 10am.
The location in the middle of the strip is perfect, the TV was big and responsive, and the elevators were rather fast. I would NOT stay there again"

"Staff was really nice and helpful, valet was awesome. Overall it was a nice stay. Aside from the shower , room was not the greatest. The casino was clean as well as the food court . I would like to see security be more aware of the happenings in the hall ways of the hotel rooms."

"Service was really great. Everyone was super helpful. Its close and walkable to the other casinos. Can be semi family friendly during the morning/afternoon. The room was spacious, had comfortable beds, and good amenities in the room. For some parts, I would say it was dirty but it was a little worn. Super confused why the lower floor rooms had not shower curtain or missing half a door. Water gets everywhere. I went to a room in the higher floors and those rooms were really nice with great view. We saw the roof of the building with out room, but honestly still had a decent view. Just a bit obscured. My kid still liked it."
