It was my birthday,Thanksgiving and wedding anniversary. They accommodated us and allowed us to check in at noon when we arrived. Which made everything so much better, easier and faster..Everyone was very friendly. Our room was clean. The bed was comfortable the pillows were comfortable. We had an empty refrigerator, which was perfect for us to fill-up with what we wanted. Instead of going to an expensive hotel, getting thirsty and touching it and having them charge it to your room for a dollar bottle of water from Walgreens they charge $10 a bottle in the fridge….We were originally booked for the mandolin Bay until we read the FINE PRINT 2 days before leaving we were able to cancel and book this GEM after all the fees for the amount of days we were there. It was almost $1000. BEST WESTERN ROYAL HAS NO HOTEL FEE!!!! The Luxury hotels if you like and don’t mind walking a lot just to get to your room or other amenities. Everything is far!!!! Best western casino royal hotel has everything right in the middle of the strip…no Uber is needed and if you do, it’s at the back of the hotel by Harrahs.. Smoking there’s a fire escape smoking area on every floor by the hallway. Fat Tuesday’s is right downstairs. White castle is right downstairs subway, Walgreens, Dennys, McDonald’s right downstairs!! Best hotel I ever booked! We will stay here every year when we come visit Vegas. thank you to Staff and management that took care of us so quickly from asking about extra coffee cup or a extra pillow . We were given anything in less then 3 minutes… Manager at The front forgot his name went above and beyond. I know he will remember me because we caught a apple at the wizard of oz :} and I let him see it lol
he told me he seen Michael Jackson one show over five times lol but I would too, its the best show in Vegas!!!! Don’t think about booking this hotel just do it. You won’t regret it. It’s really a gem!! Happy Holidays to everyone at Best Western Casino Royal :}"

"Awesome friendly and professional staff, EASY parking, great location. Fun and safe atmosphere with some "old Las Vegas " feel to the place. NOT opulent and overwhelming. Homey feel. Room was cleaned well, pool was nice, easy to walk to a lot of places. With the bar staff serving great drinks and connected to a White Castle; what a great scene!!!! Tix for tonight also connected. My wife and I had a great time in Vegas."

"Some people will say the most important thing is location, location, location. If that were true this place would be 5 stars. It is conveniently located right on the strip, free parking, everything you need within walking distance.
However, when we checked in the desk clerk was most focused on getting us to gamble. (EVERYTHING in Vegas is in a casino.) She was supposed to opt us out of housekeeping, but forgot to do so. The 2nd day when I went to the desk to ask a question I was directed to "go to the end of the line." There was only 1 other customer there!!
The hotel is obviously quite old, but they have done some updates. The room was clean. It is a casino, but you have to go through the casino to get to the elevators to go to your room. Between the cigarette smoke and whatever they pipe into the casino to try and hide the cigarette smoke, our eyes were burning and we were hacking and coughing by the time we left.
They do not have a restaurant. There is a Subway and a Denny's on site. When I went to the Subway, they had an order for 45 sandwiches, so they couldn't take 3 minutes to make one sandwich for me. Denny's was okay, your typical Denny's, but EXTREMELY expensive."
