What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors generally find Bodies: The Exhibition to be a fascinating and educational experience, offering a unique look at human anatomy. While some find the content graphic, many appreciate the scientific detail and learning opportunities, especially those with a medical background. The value for money is often debated, but discounts can make it a worthwhile visit.
"It’s so interesting if you like science in this way and field. You should have a stomach for it as it might be hard for some to see, but if you are a passionate it will be one of the greatest things.
In school and everything you always get shown drawings and when you get to see them in an exhibition like this, it’s always way better. Everything is well explained and performed, you can see every little detail and really understand everything. I didn’t wait too long in line."

"What an incredibly educational journey inside the human body using actual cadavers! You get to see all the muscle and organ systems, healthy and diseased. If you have ever had a medical procedure done, a surgery, or know someone with a chronic illness, you will get a completely new understanding of the organs involved and the effects of disease processes on the body. The pregnant woman with the fully developed child inside her, along with the faces on the bodies were very thought provoking. I would not recommend it for children and just like with all the attractions in Vegas, they want to take green screen pics of your group before entering, just say no… that was the only drawback to this otherwise well done exhibit."

"Absolutely stunning. But that's my opinion. Let's break this down for you.
This is an exhibit with REAL cadavers. Humans who have allowed their bodies to be used for science and discovery. You will seen how the entire human body works, muscle, tissue, bone. If you are looking for a truly amazing thing
To see, I highly recommend this. And spend the money on the audio. We rarely try to learn these days and this is an amazing opportunity.
I, personally, do not recommend this for young children unless you're planning on doing a lot of real explaining to them."

The Plastination Process: Preserving Humanity
This scientific advancement has made it possible to bring the intricacies of the human body to a wider audience, offering an unparalleled educational experience. Visitors can observe the precise structure of muscles, nerves, blood vessels, and organs in a way that textbooks or diagrams simply cannot replicate. The clarity and detail of the plastinated specimens are often highlighted by visitors, particularly those with a background in science or medicine.
While the process is scientifically fascinating, it's important to remember that these are real human beings. The exhibition emphasizes the ethical sourcing of the bodies, often through body donation programs, and aims to foster a deeper appreciation for the human form and its complexities.

Getting around the Strip can be done in several ways. Walking is feasible if you're staying nearby, but be prepared for the desert heat. Taxis and rideshare services (Uber/Lyft) are readily available and offer direct transport to your destination.
For those looking to save money, exploring discount ticket options is key. Tix4Tonite booths scattered along the Strip are a popular source for same-day show and attraction tickets at reduced prices. Additionally, checking with your hotel concierge or looking into package deals can often yield significant savings, making your Las Vegas experience more budget-friendly.
Comparing 'Bodies' and 'Real Bodies' Exhibits
Reviews suggest that the Horseshoe's Real Bodies might offer a slightly different perspective or a more curated experience for some. However, Bodies: The Exhibition at the Luxor is also highly regarded for its detailed anatomical displays and is often praised for its educational value, especially by those in medical fields.
Ultimately, the choice between the two may come down to personal preference and what specific aspects of human anatomy you are most interested in exploring. If time and budget allow, experiencing both could offer a broader understanding of the subject matter.
