"As a vet, this park moved me. The monuments are beautiful. I'm so glad that this place exists because it fills a void in my heart. I brought my elderly mini dachshund, he lifted his leg at one monument and I said Don't you dare! Then I saw a lady let her dog run loose and try to call it back. That explains the pee spot at the main monument that my dog tried to emulate. People enjoy this park but show some reverence! This is not an off leash park."

The trail on the outside is a quarter mile long, paved and generally level. For dog owners, there are poop bags available - stop being lazy and dispose of pet waste, especially at a memorial.
