What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors often praise MOAH for its ambitious and impressive exhibitions, especially considering its free admission. The staff are frequently noted as welcoming and informative, contributing to a positive experience. However, some reviews mention inconsistent staff interactions and a desire for more engaging exhibits for certain tastes.
"I am a recent Lancaster transplant. MOAH is a lovely cornerstone for expression in this becoming city. The receptionist with glasses and sand-nail polish was so welcoming, informative, and took the time for me to see if Cedar Hall down the street was open--the whole staff seemed like creative types who take pride in the establishment. FYI i visited the "m\other" exhibition and really enjoyed the branching aspects to it--race, sexuality and community all tied to a mothering base."

"Pleasant staff. The exhibits did nit capture my interest. Maybe they will capture others interests."
Mark
"Nice art, but a couple of the workers were standing in the hallway loudly talking about girls? I avoided a couple paintings because it felt like I was eavesdropping as I got closer to them. The workers looked young, and it was a slow Tuesday afternoon, so it's understandable, but that's not what anyone wants to hear or see from the staff while at a museum.
At least there was no required entrance fee."
