"Love this lake. Lots of room for busy boating days. There are several waterfront places to eat, Marina's to fuel up, and ramps to put your boat in. Several campgrounds along the shoreline too. We stayed a week in a lake house in July and loved our stay. The water appeared to be pretty clean and well kept everywhere. There were several beachy sandy areas to pull up to and rest or cool off. We are from TN but the drive was well worth it. Great lake overall."

"Live here love it! I live on the river end of Lake in a small excellent community. The other end is busier more jobs, more schools, more traffic, more restaurants etc. I like the peacefulness of the Saluda side. I love Hollywood Elementary School. They have a newly updated school, the principal makes sure they teach kindness as well as academic. It is an excellent school. I love there is less traffic on the lake on this end too. The wildlife is beautiful. The views are amazing. I feel at peace and I feel happy."
