What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Lake Glenville for its stunning natural beauty, clear waters, and abundant recreational opportunities like kayaking, fishing, and swimming. The accessibility of waterfalls and the refreshing mountain air are major highlights. However, some find boat traffic overwhelming on summer weekends, and certain facilities like restrooms at some access points could be improved.
"One of our favorite places to kayak, fish, and swim. Beautiful lake, clean water, easy access! We access and drop in our kayaks at the Pines Recreation Area. Always decent parking (Although I would avoid the bathrooms here if you are able to)."

"Just cruising the area, stopped for literally 20 min and caught this bass on first cast, showed my grandson his first bass, and tossed it back for him to catch again someday. Beautiful place."
Charlie
"An amazing lake in an amazing place! This is a must do if you like paddling. There are several islands, swimming beaches, and at least 4 waterfalls you can approach (we made it to 2 of them). We camped at Ralph J Andrews park with direct access to the lake, but there are several public spots where you can put in. As you might expect, the boat traffic can get a bit overwhelming on weekends in the summer, so keep that in mind. Overall we had a blast and will most certainly be back."
