"A really great spot to catch the sunrise. Entering the outlying area, it feels like you've taken a wrong turn somewhere, but there are signs for public parking along the way. I parked at the lot near Cliff Rd (private road). There's a paved trail down to the lakeside, but it is fairly steep in some areas. There's a bird-watching loop that offers plenty of great views of the lake and circles a large meadow and crosses a ravine. Most of that trail is packed dirt and grass and is under 2 miles total with lots of benches along the way."
