What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Guests consistently praise the Grand Floridian's stunning Victorian elegance, exceptional service, and prime location with easy access to Magic Kingdom. Many highlight the magical holiday decorations and the luxurious spa experience. However, some find certain dining options to be average for the price point, and a few mention uncomfortable beds or noise from the monorail/ferries.
"I stayed at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort on a girls trip and WOW — this has officially become my new favorite Disney property. We had a water-view room with a fireworks view, and it was hands down the most beautiful view I’ve ever experienced at Disney. Watching the fireworks from our room felt truly magical.
The resort itself is stunning, especially at Christmas. The décor is elegant, festive, and absolutely breathtaking — it really elevates the entire experience. The food options were excellent, with so many great choices right on property.
The proximity and ease of getting to all the parks, especially Magic Kingdom, is unbeatable. Everything felt seamless and stress-free. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained.
I typically stay at the Four Seasons, but the Grand Floridian has officially won me over — this is now my go-to Disney hotel. I loved it so much and truly can’t wait to stay here again"

"Everything is great. The service is great both food & concierge services were really great. I loved that you could take the monterreal or ferry to the park. I also loved that the Breakfast, Lunch, Snacks, dinner was free & great. You must try "Strawberry soup" it is amazing. The rooms on the other hand were great but you must plan in months in advance. Especially if you want two or three bedroom. Although they said that you can room 6 people in a two bedroom. We had 1 King & 2 queen beds. & they included the sofa sleeper as well. We had had five guest. The view was awesome you could see Magic Kingdom & the fireworks 🎆 from the bedroom. I know it says quiet on one of selection but let's face the hotel is for the kids so it's not gonna be quiet."

"From the moment I stepped onto the Grand Floridian property, I knew I was in for something special. I’ll be honest, I wasn’t exactly thrilled about going to Disney World, as I usually prefer more relaxing vacations. But after my stay here, I’m already planning my return (and this time, I might just skip the parks and enjoy the spa instead!).
I’ve been lucky enough to stay at some of the world’s best 5-star resorts, and the Grand Floridian is easily in my top 7 experiences. The attention to detail is incredible: from the charming Disney “Easter eggs” hidden around the hotel to the outstanding customer service, I was absolutely blown away.
A huge shoutout to Dimitra, who checked us in and truly set the stage for an INCREDIBLE visit. She asked if we were celebrating anything, and I mentioned my daughter’s birthday. Dimitra went above and beyond, giving my daughter a Disney birthday pin that made her feel like a celebrity; staff and guests alike celebrated her throughout our stay! When we returned to our room at night, Dimitra had left a magical birthday gift bag for my daughter, which was completely unexpected and so appreciated. It’s the little things like this that make a stay truly unforgettable.
One small recommendation for the property: while I loved the luggage carts to help with check-in and check-out, I do wish there was golf cart access to help guests get around. Disney is a very walking-intensive experience, and on-site transportation would make things even more comfortable.
Overall, Dimitra was absolutely fantastic, and I’ve already shared my experience with so many friends and family. Thank you for making our stay so magical; 10/10, can’t wait to come back next year!"
