Visitors praise the Long Center for its beautifully restored historic ambiance, comfortable seating, and friendly staff. The convenient and free parking is a significant plus. However, some attendees have noted issues with sound quality during spoken parts of shows and a lack of elevator access to the mezzanine, which can be a challenge for those with mobility concerns.
"Friendly staff, seating close to the stage and far more comfortable than Elliott Hall of Music across the river, and convenient, ample, FREE parking in a garage a block away? Yes, we will be back!"

"This restored theater was originally known as the Mars . The restoration was beautifully done with painstaking attention to detail.
Actually the 2nd time we visited as LCFPA. First time was Winter Carnival with the real son of the "Big Bopper."
This time around is "Rhythm of the Dance." Irish river dance and entertainment."

"Such a beautiful venue! We finally got to see Micheal W. Smith perform! There are a few things I wish they could change. There is no lift or elevator to the mezzanine. I bought tickets for this show in February of 2020, not knowing Covid would postpone the show fir so long. February of 2021 I had a major surgery that makes it hard to climb stairs, currently. There was no open disabled seating. Needless to say, I made my way to the 2nd floor. And then up more stairs to our seats.
The concert was great! My only complaint is that you couldn't hear him, a lot. Especially during times that he would tell a story before singing his next song. The speakers above us didn't seem to work or were to quite.
All in all, I'd highly recommend attending events at the Long Center!"
