"Probably the least popular of the areas we visited, sort of like Jurassic Park without the ride and with possibly worse looking dinosaurs. But then I think this is supposed to be more of an indication of animal life millions of years past and is trying to be more educational than theme park ride oriented. On the plus sdie, less crowded so a good place to saunter around and take in the sights an read the placards."

"High-up executives are talking about replacing this area of Animal Kingdom, and for a good reason. Dinoland USA feels very out of place from the rest of the park; and doesn’t feel as authentic and mature as the other four areas. It rather feels like a cheap amusement park than something Disney would make. However, that doesn’t mean it’s worth visiting.
If you have children, there’s a lot to do for them: there’s a sandpit, carnival games, and a good meet-and-greet area here. You can get Disney plushies from the games, and offer a competitive aspect to this land. The main attraction, DINOSAUR, can be a hit or miss. Some would enjoy it, but others would be annoyed by the tossing of the vehicle. Overall, this would be a good area for kids, but it’s good that it’s being replaced; it’s time for extinction."
