"We had been trying to get to Alberta Creek all summer but with the flooding and other travel plans, we just know made. We came in for a quick lunch. Easy access to courtesy dock, tied off, walked in and were seated. Wife had some wine, I had a beer. We shared the fried shrimp basket. Nice, large shrimp, tailed and deveined with seasoned fries. Great combo. Great place to take a break from the lake and eat! Closes for the season after Labor Day."

"I attempted to visit this bar this evening with a friend. We sat down at the bar, no one greeted us or checked our IDs. We asked if they would be able to change one of the TVs to Love Island, to which a male bartender replied “I sold my TV” whatever that means? So then we asked a female bartender, to which she replied “I love that show, I’m a bit behind on making drinks, let me catch up and then I’ll get the remote for you.” We continued chatting amongst ourselves and another patron for 5 minutes when all of a sudden we were asked to leave immediately by that same female bartender because she suspected we were “on drugs”. We were surprised and disappointed by this accusation, as we were completely sober and had been the entire day. We were not behaving disruptively. While I appreciate the bar's concern for the safety of their patrons, this situation was completely unacceptable and we left feeling discriminated. This course of action should only be applied to those who are clearly intoxicated and in need of assistance.
I hope this business will consider additional staff training to prevent similar misunderstandings in the future. I also hope they can take a look at their businesses’ values and treat all of their customers/ guests with respect.

"We ended up staying here for 1 night for a guided fishing trip the next day. You will not be able to contact this so called resort by phone. We have tried throughout the day before we arrive to see if they had a microwave. This is more of a place to sleep for the night than anything else. Do not bring your wife and daughters here. It is not a resort. It was just my dad, my youngest son and myself, so we were able to suck it up. I am giving this place a 2 store because it is really spacious with 2 bedrooms (2 single beds in each bedroom) 1 bath, a living room and there is a full kitchen. I would have gave it a 1 start but gave it another one for the space. The kitchen has cooking ware, dishes, a stove, full refrigerator and microwave. This place reminds me of an old trailer park. It looks like an old trailer home. It has an old musty smell to it. Other than the spiderwebs, the roaches, and bugs everthing else seemed some what clean. I feel like this is a $60 a night place really. I dont think we will be staying here again. Next time I would rather bring my RV down."
