Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the Kerrville Farmers Market for its vibrant atmosphere, diverse local vendors, and delicious food offerings, especially artisan breads and unique prepared items. While most experiences are positive, occasional issues with order accuracy have been noted.
"A weekly MUST for me now. Awesome vendors, live music, Pint and Plow free beer (bring your own cup or buy one) the porter today was Soo good. Had a brick oven personal pan pizza made for me with peaches and Zanzenberg pork butt (sorry no picture, I ate it immediately) and bought their most amazing pecan scones. Yum. If I had more cash on me I would have gotten one of their loaves of cranberry walnut bread or sourdough. Tip: get here right when they open at 4 and place your order before line gets too long! I always pick up Happy Gut's lemon garlic dill sauerkraut, goes with any meat, and a salad assortment of butter lettuce, romaine and fresh herbs from Mikey's garden. I got some garden herb goat cheese today to pair with carrots and green apples. They also make a homemade caramel and fudge, mmmmm. Last but not least the bread and butter pickles for my late night sweet tooth...they stuff their jars so you get twice as much as store bought and just make a really good tasting pickle. most vendors have a square and take cc. But some are cash only (pizza/bread place) Parking is always easy and free and it's super close which is nice."

"I really enjoyed walking around the market. First time here although I've wanted to many times before, but didn't. I thought there would be more vegetables, maybe wrong time of year. Very interesting, not all farms grow vegetables! so wow! cow farms (beef) for sale, mushroom farms! Heirloom tomato plants for sale, cookie farms, a young lady teen entrepreneur, with art for sale (real nice), a pizza brick oven vender, I forget what he was selling because his pizza looked so good. A young man playing guitar. All the food is inspected. So come on down to Water Street every fryday 3pm, I know I will again because I hope it will be different every week.

"Did not receive what I had ordered. I was so disappointed. I ordered 3 loafs of apple walnut sourdough bread and got one loaf out of three The other two were regular sourdough bread."
