Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the Washington DC Temple for its stunning architecture and the magical atmosphere of the Festival of Lights. The immaculate grounds and welcoming spirit of the missionaries are frequently highlighted. Some minor concerns have been noted regarding traffic flow and navigation during peak event times.
"The temple grounds are always clean and immaculate. It is a slice of Heaven on earth. The “Light the World” Christmas campaign will bring lovely Christmas lights that are open for all to see. I can’t recommend visiting this place enough! I was not born a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints but I joined the church at age 24 so I grew up in the DC area seeing this temple off of 395 and wondering what it is like. It is amazing! I can’t recommend visiting enough."

"I had a good experience here. The volunteer staff were friendly and gave excellent directions when I said I it was my first time here. My only concern was with the flow of traffic around the round parts or medians, as there were not signs or markings on the road. Frequent visitors may know exactly where and how to go, but my first-time experience was had some unnecessary uncertainty at first."
Hyrum Kohler
"Rating just the holiday lights display, on the Temple grounds - which is spectacular. Can get quite crowded, and traffic can be quite slow on the road approaching the Temple. Once there, there is ample parking, and attendants guiding people through. Worth the visit, whatever your religious pursuasion. Beautifully done."
