"We really enjoyed our visit here! It’s free/donation based and really welcoming staff. The skeletons they have are so great to see, signs are well written. The basement with the lab and kids activity area was great as well. My son could have stayed and played all day!"

"Loved it. I've been to bigger displays but few with a specialty and a great display. The volunteers were friendly and knew their stuff. The building itself is interesting, as the original post office and moved from its original location.
Great place to spend a half hour or hour. The downstairs work area is small and there's space for kids with toys and activities.
I especially liked the kids costumes upstairs to get them involved."

"Impressive one-room museum! I was worried by some reviews it would be small. Well.. it’s small but packed!! Our toddler LOVED it and it was just the right size and time amount for him! Donations accepted instead of tickets, but surprisingly a lot here to enjoy, when the Chicago Field Museum seems like a lot, and this was focused primarily on just dinosaurs!(Which is what drew us the most!)
We enjoyed walking through the large room a few times taking our time, then enjoying the front entrance area where there are some kid-friendly activities - costumers/puzzles/ hands-on exhibits. Downstairs (basement) there is an official dinosaur lab and an open toy/play area! Also a dig box for fossils! Very pleasantly surprised coming from about an hour away-drive. Our little Dino-lover LOVED it!"
