Reviews Summary
Visitors praise St. Edward State Park for its stunning natural beauty, well-maintained trails, and the impressive restoration of The Lodge. The park offers a great mix of outdoor recreation and historical charm, with many enjoying the lake access and picnic facilities. Some note that parking can be challenging on busy days and a Discover Pass is required.
"We went to Saint Edward State Park on a beautiful Sunday morning, there was plenty of parking spots left, Discover Pass required. We haven't been here since they turned it into a luxury hotel, it looks nice. The park is bigger than I remember, we took trail #5 down to the lake, it's labeled a difficult trail, it wasn't too bad, coming up this trail I think would be different."

"Saint Edward State Park is a beautiful park on the west side of Kirkland. It has picnic tables, big grassy areas for picnics, and covered tables also for a picnic.
There’s a playground for kids. Bathroom throughout. And the beach access.
There are walking trails everywhere. And nice places to sit and enjoy nature."
Dale Burks
"Beautiful grounds. There was a couple having their reception at the hotel/lodge that looked absolutely stunning. You'll need a Discovery Park pass in order to park there. The trails had a bit of an incline but nothing a beginner like myself can't handle. I get tired very easily Lol Great place to walk, take in nature and enjoy the outdoors."
