"The NASCAR section was wonderful but also the music awards section was so interesting. The staff were so friendly and helpful and welcoming. The museum is free and donations are greatly appreciated. "Not my normal museum type but it’s local to me. The staff was super friendly. The music side will have someone you have heard of. The racing side has some cool stuff. Not quite my cup of tea but enjoyed my self."

"This free museum in Kanapolis is a real sleeping gem. In one building, a racing car museum and NC Music Hall of fame of Mike Curb. Amazing the racing support and leadership in auto racing financed by his music empire. Cars from Indy and Cart racing, NASCAR, drag, and USAC racing. Many famous driver cars on display.
My surprise and learning enjoyment was the NC Music Hall of Fame. Learned of so many music jazz, country, R&B, Bluegrass, Hip Hop, Gospel, Soul artists born in NC.
Open M to F 10-4 and closed for lunch. Enjoy the museum, find your local restaurant for lunch and relax in Kanapolis."
