What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Arcadia Creek Festival Place is a well-loved downtown venue for its vibrant festivals and live music, praised for its central location and energetic atmosphere. While generally clean and well-maintained during events, some visitors have noted issues with litter and the presence of homeless individuals in less managed areas.
"I attended the reboot on the Kalamazoo Caribbean Festival at this venue and it was awesome. The place was reconfigured to have an entry and an exit for maximum security. There was ample space for vendors and event sponsors to display their products and services along the path to the main event. The main stage featured amazing performances from local and international reggae artistes and bands."

"This is a beautiful venue. Centrally located downtown and easily walkable to multiple parking garages and street parking. I have enjoyed several festivals this year including the Pride festival and Carribean festival. Each festival has been slightly different by the various organizers. The food trucks are typically tucked away in the back and the entrance is either right in front of the bridge or in the back right in front of the food trucks. The Carribean festival had metal detectors for the women and pat downs for the men. Each festival has different entrance costs. They all accept credit/debit cards at the entrance, alcohol tickets, and food trucks with an added fee. I love the acoustics and the big stage speakers. I also like how the vendors are perfectly situated around the venue during the festivals. Very thankful to have such a nice place to hold these festivals. My only hope is that the organizers add additional trash and recycling cans around the venue because they fill quickly and people start to throw their trash and recycling next to the cans when they are full."

"This review may be skewed because of timing and mainly includes the playground portion of the grounds.
Went to Binder Park zoo for the 4th. Came into town for dinner and wanted to hit up the park before the drive back to GR.
Playground equipment and surrounding grassy areas were almost filled with homeless folk and trash.
Both can be explained easily.
Trash was probably from a previous event that week. Understandable.
Same for the homeless folk. They don't have a place to go, public park is a place to go.
Just in an attempt to make those less aware that these things can be noticed. A park cleanup after an event can fix the trash. Due maintenance on the grounds can solve some more problems. Homeless folk are a gray area. (A discussion I'm not going to go into)"
