"This place was THE FIRST Church that naturally gave me peace and felt at-home (as a wandering, non-church believing or going, Christian/Spiritualist)--do not mistake this, for about 26 years I've felt strongly unsure (at best) about any Christian church or faith.
December 25th, midnight mass, my husband and I came to satisfy his curiosity about going before Christmas, and I chose St. Joseph's Church primarily due to its historical beauty and visual sense of the place.
FR. Tim Andres shared a most magnificent homily absolutely beautiful, while showing off his playful humor and his truely tender soul. This, along with the lights, the songs, the people, and the sensory experience that carried all the way to one of the back rows where we sat, fueled something within me that genuinely did not see coming; I leaned over to my husband and quietly whispered, "...we need to come back!" All while tears gently rolled down my cheeks and landed in the corner of my smile.
Now, fast forward to April 28th, 2024: I celebrated my very own and first communion under any church at all, but especially (and unexpectedly) in a Catholic Church! Thanks to Decon Mike and his extraordinary gift of working with me to make this happen, and Fr. Tim Andres overseeing and permitting this special event in my life. I am forever grateful 🙏
The reasons I love St. Joseph's Church is numerous. The most powerful reason I come back is for its people. I am truly in awe with the genuine love and kindness of the congregation and how individuals made a point to get to know my husband and myself, and even my mom whenever she is visiting! They are remarkable and giving, and it honestly feels like I'm home.
I hope the people of our church see this and know I'm talking about each of them. Thank you ❤️😊🙏"

"First time I've been in a a Catholic church. (I'm not Catholic) Although somewhat nervous, I was very impressed. The Priest gave a short, to the point, funeral mass. The church is extremely beautiful, inside and out. Parking is only 'fair', especially close to the church."
