"This a Survivalist class and its been a great hands on experience for my son. They've learned how to make knots and how to apply the skill in an emergency shelter building exercise. The museum is a fun hands on interactive environment , and the trails are open all year around for use. This is a series of classes available and supported through the 4-H program by the Cornell extension programs. The teacher is very inclusive and friendly. Thank you Ms. N"

"Beautiful. Great for people who enjoy walking nature trails. The fields are green. There is a seasonal stream, and a year-round pond. We saw hundreds of tiny frogs that we initially thought were crickets. The hill to begin with is a steep one, but even if you decide not to go down the hill to the many walking trails, the view from the top of the hill on a sunny spring day offers the feel from The Sound of Music. There is also a visitors’ center, but I have always walked around it to get to the trails. The top of the big hill also has grills and picnic tables for use. This facility is run by Cornell Cooperative Extension."
