"Overall, the light shows were pretty cool. We very much enjoyed those and it was nice to walk through the trail. However, if you do buy tickets for this, do not choose a late time. We came for the last reservation time and were very rushed through.
We arrived at 8:50pm on 12/7/25, which was 10 minutes before our reservation start time. The parking employees told us we were late and needed to hurry in very quickly. They rushed us in to park. Then, at the start of the trail, we were told it would take about an hour to walk through. This was about 9pm (our reservation time). About halfway through, employees started walking closely behind us with flashlights and following us through, which is where we started to feel rushed. By the end, I waited to take photos in the lighted arch. When it was my turn (I was the last person) I got to take photos for about 40 seconds and then we were told “Folks I need to shut these lights off” by an employee. The people in front of me got to take photos for at least 5 minutes, and rather than tell them to hurry to we can keep the line going, they decided to only let me get a few seconds and rushed us out. I glanced at my phone in that moment, and it was 9:58. We had not even gotten the full hour of the experience because we were rushed. I’m not normally one to argue about 2 minutes, but it overall felt unfair that we were rushed the whole time and then still not given our full time on top of it. By the time we were leaving, even the gift shop and bar was already closed, so we also didn’t get that part of the experience.
In all, I do agree with many other reviews here that this place is very overpriced. The lights were very nice, and we got some nice pictures. Again, if you choose to go, do not pick one of the times near the end of the night, because you will be rushed. My main issue with this place is that the employees rushed us the entire time we were there."
